With and Without You
I used to love rivers and mountains
I used to cherish life and its multiplicity
I used to feel ecstatic with blossoming flowers
I used to run wild into the unknown forests
And I used to lose myself into the infinity of the night
Then, one day you showed up
As sudden as a shooting star
As unpredictable as a gust of wind
As intense as a summer breeze
And ever since we’ve been walking together
All those things that I used to love
That I used to enjoy
That I used to relish on
They still exist
But they’ve got a new and special form
It is a sweetly majestic meaning
It is a powerfully inspiring revelation
Because you’ve brought me closer to nature
And your love has given a new dimension to existence
Your smile has brightened the minutes
Your fragrances have filled the air
Your whispers have enchanted my heart
Your heat has warmed up my nights
And your constant presence
Makes me feel
Nearer and nearer
To the fullest of life
And it is infinite possibilities
For changes
For encounters
For expansions
And for love, with you.
