Why is life so full of polarities?
Life is an amazing experiential field heightened by its polarities of love and hatred, sorrow and happiness, greed and altruism, construction and destruction, violence and peace, abundance and poverty.
Yet, why do we have all these differences and all their shades in between their extreme poles?
Probably it exists because they are necessary for one’s own individual growth and improvement.
For instance, sometimes we experience love to empower us into higher and higher heights, whereas other times the non-existence of the same love encourages us to look for it within ourselves instead of outside.
Besides, abundance exists to grow us into a more altruistic and generous person whereas poverty knocks at the door to kick us out of our comfort zones and strive for something better in our lives.
Additionally, when happiness invades our environment, it teaches us about the grandiosity and easiness of living whereas sadness throws us into dark caves for us to deal with our emotional black holes or psychological demons so that we can exterminate them by using our courage and freewill.
In other words, life is an experiential field whose outcome is not unchangeably defined by any astrological planets, spiritual forces, Gods, Goddesses, government systems, cultural beliefs, religious doctrines or family ties, although substantially influenced by them, but it is a journey where each individual must strive to understand what comes from the depth of his soul as well as the situations he is facing at any given moment so that he can fully manifest his existential purpose by doing what it is to be done at every point in time and, consequently, aiming to put it altogether is a majestic canvas called meaning of his life.
When this happens to a person, life turns out to be the most glorious, inspiring and powerful journey one could ever have dreamed of, i.e., a meaningful pilgrimage.
