Time, and the Merciless Ticking

The clock ticks and tacks, tick-tack, tick-tack, tick-tack incessantly, and repeats itself tirelessly, nonchalantly, as if trying to produce a shrieking sound to remind us that life is passing by, that it is flying over our heads, that it is slipping away from our fingers no matter how tightly we try to grasp it.

This ticking, when decoded, reveals questions that are paramount to our existence such as, what are you doing with your time?. Are you using this magnificent gift proactively? Are you taking advantage of this brief spell to manifest your talents?. Are you benefiting from this very moment? Or you are just letting it roll by filled with unfulfilled dreams? Or are you wasting it with undesirable, painful and regretful thoughts and actions?.

You see, this everlasting ticking is unbiased, impartial and fair in the merciless way that it treats everyone because it just does not care about our existence and simply moves on, and on, and one steadily, unflamboyantly and uncharmingly.

Yet, its subtle central theme in persuading us to question our existence is a charming, or perhaps terrifying, reality that we ought to accept as an undeniable part of our daily lives.

Then, if we do accept the challenge, hopefully we will gain courage to look for the answers and, once we find them, strive to manifest all that life has asked from us, or that we have to give back to it, which obviously is not only to listen to the tick-tack of time and let our existence runs down thru the pipes of time, but rather take the reins of our own time and gallop towards our destiny.

So, listen to the sound, but don’t be scared or discouraged by it, on the contrary, feel invigorated and charged by it, search for the answers and let your journey be a timeless manifestation.
