Jealousy springs forth from intense disbelief in oneself, it is as simple as that.

But when we inquisitively dive into the muddy waters of jealousy, we are led to the important understanding that, more often than not, such a feeling had has nothing to do with the other person because, in essence, it emerges from an individual incapacity of seeing oneself worth of someone else’s love, appreciation, admiration or support and, consequently, the envious mind creates all sorts of mediocre and painful situations aiming to get a reinforcement from the other person, either through attention or validation of one’s misplaced feelings.

Besides, it is relevant to be aware of the fact that no one can cool down the burning flames of jealousy, except the disturbed person who manifests it, which is a catch 22 situation because the individual who expresses it, does it so because he can’t stop himself, and why can’t he stop himself?

Because, in the first place, he disbelieves himself.

And that’s why it is so difficult to get rid of jealousy and all its bitter and insecure manifestations.
