The School of Love

Today, I joined the school of love
The program is very rich and ennobling
I thought I was well versed in the curriculum
And that it was going to be an easy sailing
But I fear that I’ll have to start from the basics again
For even the alphabet looks a bit strange to me
Yet, when I see it, I feel that I’ve seen it before
Like a memorable déjà vu moment

Today, I joined the school of love
After the first few introductions
I realized that it will demand much more from me
Than I ever expected
But, the enrolment is based on free will
So, I will devote all my energy and curiosity
To learn about this pearl that naturally adorns my heart
Even though, I don’t seem to notice it in my daily life.

Today, I joined the school of love
The registration is free and open for all
The prerequisites are only honesty, lucidity and spontaneity
The classes happen all the time
And the teachers are everywhere
All this flexibility makes my learning process easier
So, I hope that I’ll graduate very soon
