The Breath of Life

The art of conscious breathing is a powerful technique that brings more stability, vitality and lucidity to one’s life. I call it an art because it has some touches of sublimity and magic whenever a person decides to stop using this channel of life only for mechanical survival and starts using it aiming to bring more balance and awareness into his existence. The act of breathing is a direct connection with the vital energies of living because it is through it that the breath of life enters into our body and energizes the whole structure so that we can go on with our pilgrimages around this fascinating planet, meanwhile, while breathing out, it also removes from the body what it is no longer necessary for its fitness. However, it does not stop in this physiological level for it also has a very subtle, almost imperceptible, but quintessential influence in us through streams of energies that invigorate our thoughts, vitalize our emotions, inspire our willingness and propels us into pursuing the understanding of the higher, more noble and ultimate goals of life, which in a very succinct summary are to remain steadfast in our path regardless of the obstacles, to maintain our hearts open and loving so that we can share caring and soothing vibrations with other people and, most importantly, to continue studying aiming to remove the ignorance as well as to assimilate the knowledge that reveals the oneness of our essences. Therefore, be aware of the life force that is always available for your benefit; use it conscious and wisely so that you will have enough energy to achieve all the goals that your soul aspires to accomplish during this brief human existence. In other words, breathe in, hold it for a while, and breathe out for life manifests itself graciously and more naturally if you do it. (Tadany — 10 03 16)
