Religion and Nature

Religion is a very interesting topic that most people religiously dive into it.

Predominantly they plunge into it with all their emotional and faithful beings, but not with their intellectual framework.

As a consequence, they spend a lot of time worshipping their divine beings, which I consider to be a powerful and wilful action, but at the same time, unfortunately, they do not allocate the same volition, the same sincerity and the same effort towards a diligent, sustainable and natural care of mother nature.

This is one of the greatest and most astonishing paradoxes that I observe every single day, i.e., people being vigilant and attentive to their gods while, at the same time, devastating, thrashing, and ignoring the very nature that provides everything they need for survival, nourishment and growth.

Certainly, one could call it ungratefulness, hypocrisy or greed, but I prefer to call it “fundamental ignorance” because I still go around with the hopeful idea that their prayers and devotion will eventually shed some light into their consciousness and cognitions so that they will rethink the way they treat our ever provider Mother Nature, religiously.
