Our True Nature

Our thoughts are expanded or limited, altruistic or egocentric, loving or hateful depending upon who we understand ourselves to be.

And, frequently, this idea of ourselves is very much conditioned, or distorted, by the prevailing mindset, traditions, and values of the society where we live in.

It is a distortion because the predominant idea of “I” that we have is centered in an egocentric body-mind-sense complex that is overvalued, oversensitive, and over-limited.

This assumption completely ignores the possibility that the Self is both the cause of everything and the unlimited source of happiness, security, and peace.

As a consequence, this ignorance of our True Self is the basis of all our problems in life, whether psychological, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual.

However, if a person has the courage to inquiry upon it, an inspiring, profound, and transforming path opens up in one’s life, and it will lead to an oracle that reveals the true nature of our self-identity and the unlimited potential of our consciousness.

And such an inspiring and freeing knowledge will impact our cognitions, thus reorienting and reshaping our views on life so that we will be able to live a more objective, compassionate, and loving existence.

That’s your true nature, everything else is a misconception.
