I Live in Many Worlds

There are many worlds within me

Some are absurdly thirsty, like a traveler crossing a desert with no oasis to quench his need.

Other ones voraciously want more, and more, about life

They want to know new dimensions

They crave for discovering, for new revelations

They yearn to see the invisible and listen to the silence of the universe

These selves of mine are fervent diggers

Incessantly going deeper and deeper whenever they find a new spring

A place that will magnify my awareness of the transience of life

And the immutability of oneness

Other worlds are as spontaneous as children

They are not worried about the outcomes of life

Because they innocently and happily trust its rhythms

And always have faith that things will get better and better

There are also the worlds of the high mountains

Where everything is silence

Impressive and perplexingly inspiring

These are the backbone of all others

Because they fill them with an unflinching greatness

An unwavering solidity

And a firm sense of invincibility

There are other worlds too

They are not as enchanting

As empowering or as fascinating

And I don’t talk much about them

Because they have become so infrequent in my life

That I fear or rejoice, that I am actually forgetting about them

In essence, life is all about our worlds

So, we have to invent them

And we must live in them

Enrich and expand them

Until we can even transcend them

Because one day

And it can be at any given day

All the worlds will cease to exist

So, relish on the manifestation of your worlds

And let them spread the beauty and magnificence of your worldly existence

However many they may be

And, perhaps, the more the better.
