Earth and Heaven

The earth is not heaven.

Almost everyone accepts it quite eagerly and within a blink of an eye.

But somehow, I believe that heaven, or the idea of it, only exists because of the abundance, the beauty, the imagination, the diversity, and the fascination that earth lends to it.

In other words, if it wasn’t for the earth and its extremely creative and splendid inhabitants, heaven would probably be a barren, inhospitable, and moribund place, or perhaps it wouldn’t even exist at all, even in our imaginations.

Then, if we flip the coin of this perception, wouldn’t it be delightful and inspiring if we were to consider that heaven is not something “out there, but rather it is here and now, and it is up to each one of us to give our contributions to create a paradise on “earth”, at this very moment in time?.

Certainly, it is worth our while to ponder on this majestic and heavenly idea.

Wouldn’t it be awesome?.
